I need access to a banking and a shopping app. Without allowing google tie my device hardwsre id to my identity and then send this info to their servers. This task appears to be impossible.

APKMirror only carries some apps. Not others.

Help!

An advanced level in privacy should know Aurora store.

If the bank and the shop have a website, you can install them as a PWA.

Many banking apps won’t work unless you install them from the play store on a profile with play services running. If it forces play integrity, it won’t work on non-certified by Google devices at all.

Either do it on a separate profile using Sandboxed play services or get a second device for this purposes.

This assumes you need the apps. If it works in the browser, just do that.

Aurora store has anonymous account login for that.

On GrapheneOS, Google Play is a normal app.

Thanks. Due to the PSD2 EU 2019 directive in Europe. Almost all euro bank apps rely on App Store verification.

The on-device SCA authentication protocols on a mobile device provide (d) optimal security for European banking apps.

Ah. 2019. A simpler time…lol.
