I2P for anonymous WWW browsing - A good alternative for TOR and VPNs?

I2P is great for anonymity and has been said to have a more secure framework than TOR.

Difference is TOR is made with anonymous WWW browsing in mind while I2P isn’t. However while I2P is mainly for use of their anonymous free network and its services, it is possible to use their network while browsing the clearnet, even if it is not their main goal.

With TOR being slow and heavily censored on the internet, and VPNs also finding restrictions on the WWW especially on websites requiring signups like Discord and TikTok, I am wondering if I2P could make a good alternative as it provides anonymity while having a tolerable speed (which gets faster to longer you use their network) and not being as restricted as the TOR network.

How does it hold up for anonymous WWW use?

You need a pool of users with a similar browser fingerprint to achieve anything like anonymous browsing. I2P would probably have to make their own browser, probably just a fork of the Tor browser, so their users can’t be easily identified. You’d also need a decent pool of users as well, if there’s like two people using it then it’s a lot easier to narrow down.

And there’s not much exit nodes… probably need to make your own on vps.
