# How to get rid of YouTube AI dub

How to get rid of YouTube AI dub?

I don’t yet native YouTube (for obvious reasons) but my homemates do.

All I achieved with them to move to web version of it.

But now they keep complaining about crappy new feature with AI video auto translation that makes it sound like shit.

How to turn it off? None of us have Google account.

As I tried to do it myself, and the only thing helped is setting `privacy.spoof_english = 1` in `about:config`. But it looks like sledgehammer method.

Newpipe has a setting for this, it’s called something like “Prefer original audio”

I assume if OP had access to A.I. they would already have their answer and wouldn’t need to post here.

Such tools are never reliable. Bogus results and fake products.

I once shared a small paper I wrote and it said it was AI generated. These tools are practically useless. No tool has the capacity to accurately identity what is AI generated text and what isn’t because even AI companies don’t know how the AI comes up with combination of words to form sentences.

I never use AI for principle. In my opinion AI is crap. Why? Hallucinations, privacy intrusive. And it is not full list of why I hate AI.

Everything generated by AI is crap. From code which never works correctly (yeah, hello vibe-coders with thousands of vulnerabilities) to text and images which looks like extremely cheap graphics. Even 8-bit pixel art looks better.

Moreover AI in audio is crap too. No accents, no intonation, no correct pronunciations.

There is NO sphere where AI is better than human. AI is good only for cheap, degrading slop produced by content farms.
