Though I mostly try to avoid platforms like Reddit, it seems like some communities only exist there and sometimes I need to get advice on stuff for which only Reddit has a place to ask.

I tried to create Reddit Accounts with Tor and with VPN and they where not able to even post on most places and then got shadow banned of Reddit entirely, without me violating there TOS in any form.

Do someone knows and reliable way to create a Reddit account anonymously and not getting shadow baned?
Or alternatively, is there a trustworthy place to buy Reddit accounts that have enough Karma to post, and pay for it with crypto currency?

You could try an anti-detect browser.

Donut browser

Cloak browser

Incogniton

I did buy first using the library wifi IP and librewolf and an unique email adress (only use for that).

This is not a method for serious privacy, because device fingerprinting could be used by them.

PS: Reddit algorithm ban is worst than ever, if you buy an account with karma, it come with no guarantee.

That will get you an account, but based on what karma ?

Cute Kittens, maybe ? maybe not.

I would not buy a reddit account. I have seen someone does this and then the account was quickly ban. I am not 100% sure why, but I guess that for example the account was create with an IP associated with another country, and then use by a client in a diffrent one.

@Rambutan PM me if you want more tips to do this your self (for free).

I agree with @Julie on the public IP and a hardened browser. I would say add a vm to this, only for this use, that way you can segment the networking on your device should you choose to do so, aka host going through vpn while VM going through a separate bridge.

For this, library is best, and some Internet providers have free Wi-Fi points around populated cities, which you can try.

I bit tangential, but I would also recommend [lemmy](https://join-lemmy.org/) as an alternative to Reddit. I have had way more luck getting visibility on posts there than I have on Reddit.

Fragile tips at best, considering how security by obscurity is currently your primary method of distribution.

If you have a good method to use reddit with privacy in mind, please share with the community.

PS: My first post stated :

If your tips were for others to use for free, then they would be simply publicly shared here for others to use for free.

ok, then I thouhg talking about Reddit was shamefull here, since it cannot be private.

My tips in addition the one I already posted, is to use a low score IP adress (from a VPN server) that tested with this site: [https://scamalytics.com/](https://scamalytics.com/).

For example Proton VPN Cuba server work great.

Which detection do they prevent?

Privacy settings, IP mismatch, virtual machine. You can read their descriptions for more details.

So if I buy a reddit account, the these browser’s can detect which was the oroginal IP of the account and change my IP to that??

---

## Post 16 by @Expert4870 — 2026-07-06T15:48:33Z

No, by IP mismatch I mean that the browsers configure themselves to show the same timezone as whatever IP you’re using in that browser to prevent simple VPN detection.

So, choosing a vpn server in your computer time zone could be a simple solution ?

It turn out, that what I did, but I forgot about it

The offer has more downvotes then upvotes.

Are you sure that is not a scam?

## Post 20 by @FranklyFlawless — 2026-07-08T05:50:27Z

It is an example listing from an online marketplace, I am not claiming it is a scam or not.

## Post 21 by @Colter — 2026-07-08T16:56:21Z

Ok, I just would not trust such an offer

## Post 22 by @FranklyFlawless — 2026-07-08T18:13:54Z

I suggest treating any access to third-party platforms as ephemeral, especially considering that age verification government mandates are on the horizon.

That sounds great, does it also has other features like this?

I imagine so, you can check their features by searching them up.
