This doesnt anwser my question. I wanna know if its safe to use a year old key, or do i have to get replacements. You can see how i use keys im the main post. Edit: actually nvm there is something there. Sorry

If your threat model does not include state sponsored hacking involving sending people to specifically steal and clone your yubikey, you should be fine. Most people don’t even know what a hardware token is and would assume that your USB is a broken USB drive.
