Title. Not really clear on this. Do we get a certain allotment per year or…?

Sorry, which votes exactly?
Looks a bit unclear too here.

if you make a topic which is „site development“ there is left to the headline a button „vote“

Votes are just there for staff to have another measure of engagement. If a tool suggestion receives no votes or very few, it is highly unlikely staff is going to spend much time considering it.

They are not used to make decisions regarding the tools though.

No, your account has a total amount of votes which scales with trust level. I don’t know the exact details of votes for each trust level. Votes are, however, only counted until a suggestion is resolved, so if, say, you voted for x feature and y service to be added and x was added while y was rejected, those votes are still shown but they won’t count against your total.

I do kind of wish it was per year instead of based on resolution, as waiting on a tool suggestion can take a long time. Even if you are voting on already popular suggestions you could be out of votes for months, if not longer.

This is a duplicate:

> On something like a tool suggestion post, I see a vote button on the top left, however, I do not see a reject button, so how do you reject something? It also says I have 11 votes left. Is that total, or for the month, or what? Sorry, I’ve tried doing a search for this and can’t seem to find anything on it. I’ve also went through a lot of the categories on the left and can’t find it. If someone could link me to an explanation, that would be great!
