How do I invite people to this site? My friend wants to join and there is a badge for it.

Go to [here](https://discuss.privacyguides.net/u/mrncatlover/invited) and create an invite link.

Is that error loaded directly when you visit the URL @yes provided?

If so, it is probably because you have not invited anyone yet, so the invited.json file does not exist yet. In this case i would just recommend the following steps:

1. Go to your account summary: [Profile - MrNCatLover - Privacy Guides Community](https://discuss.privacyguides.net/u/mrncatlover/summary)
2. Go to the invites/invited tab (the icon should look like a little person with a plus sign next to it)
3. Once on that page you should be able to create a new invite link to send to people you want to invite here.

I apologize, but I really cannot seem to find the invite button. Could you share with me a screenshot of it?

This screenshot _should_ show the invites tab.

Note this tab is available for you under the user summary page link I provided for you above.

Maybe it is something that I am a new user? Although my account is around 12 days old, and I don’t think i am flagged by any system as I got the New User of the month award.

You need level 2 to invite others

Yeah, my bad. I forgot that technically summary is a tab in the profile page view. It should just be:

> **[@MrNCatLover](https://discuss.privacyguides.net/u/mrncatlover/invited)**
>
> Hello! My name is Neil, I am interested in Public Exposure, Passive Attacks and Anonymity. I am new, please say hello!
> I am new to privacy and everything related, if you find anything to help me improve my privacy, please let me …

Thought that was the link @yes gave, and you seemed to have issue with, so I was attempting to give step by step instructions instead.

Edit: @any1 solved it

Ah, my apologies! I did not know of a level system. Do you know where I can find a breakdown of the level system?

I just checked my profile… I don’t see anywhere about the 5 levels they talked about in this guide.

I know this topic has been “solved” now, I just wanted to encourage you to encourage your friend to join the forum even if you don’t get a badge for inviting them.

Also, with regard to the “5 levels” if you click/tap on my profile summary will see that I am a “Regular” which correlates to level 3. Note there is no “level 5” since the levels start at 0.
