Help me choose android browser with extensions support

So what I’m looking for is an Android browser where I can run extension for user-agent swapping. I need this browser ONLY for couple (1-5) PWA.

I also will install this browser to my elders so I don’t want it show thousands popups about news, features, ai etc. But I value security and regular updates higher than “debloated” experience.

Firefox might be a thing, regular updates, extensions but there are talks that sandbox is weaker than on chromium browsers.

Edge supports extensions, it’s chromium, regular updates but Microsoft. I thought I will never say that but for my use case Edge might be good option.

Cromite also supports extensions, but last release was in April so it’s not very up to date with mainstream chromium.

Feel free to share your thoughts.

If you’re as concerned with security as to go with sandbofing diffences then you’ve ought to know that extensions are quite insecure by themselves while majorly increasing attack surface.

Anyhow, I’d give a try to IronFox. It has extensions disabled by default for better security, but I think you can enable them.
