Also would love to see a legacy access mechanic where you’re asked to take a selfie with your partner’s body to get access to account inheritance
This does sound interesting, though I would be very concerned about deepfakes fooling this system even if Google has promised there are counter measures in place.
“This info is private. Only you can see it.” Now the session hijackers will have your email, ID’s if you’ve sent any thru email, and a face verification video.
If someone actually uses that feature they are a lost cause in my book.
The only thing this “feature” does is force me to explain to my tech apathetic friends and family why it’s not a good idea to hand over immutable personal identifiers to a mass surveillance and censorship company. And they’ll fight me on it, I’m sure.
