# Forum emails should be opt-in

If you aren’t someone who checks their email every day, then after registering on the forum and engaging with the community, you will find your inbox spammed with emails from the forum.

I think users should opt-in to receive emails from the forum.

I just did too, because my inbox was an absolute mess.
