Today is the start of the Florida Legislature special session! Please call your state lawmakers to oppose the AI Bill of Rights unless the requirement for age verification is removed. We’ve written about alternatives that could be implemented instead which could see similar or better likelihood of success compared to what age verification can do.

The Senate version of the bill is Senate Bill 2D. It was voted on today with 37 yays and 1 nay. Based a comment one senator made, it seems as though the Florida House will not be taking up the bill this session. We’ll see how that plays out over the next few days.
