Unfortunately NovaCustom still doesn’t seem to support fwupd, so wouldn’t recommend using it

They will support fwupd in the near future…it’s just that manually updating the bios is a massive pain as of right now.

This is probably something they should get up running soon though. Frequent firmware updates are a lot more important than coreboot/libreboot unlike what some people think.

Yeah, but they are working on fwupd support.

It just cool to see NovaCustom and Dasharo trying to make coreboot more secure, maybe someday we can get the dream laptop. :slight_smile:

I also remember seen a video them talking about making TianoCore + HeadOS mix but I can’t find the video.

True. I just keeping a eye on NovaCustom and Dasharo because at least they’re trying to make something great.
