Would you trust your browser storing your ID cards? How about a password manager like 1Password is trying to do?

To be honest, we as a society already normalize autofilling credit card information, but at least we need to input the security code to proceed with any purchase.

I wouldn’t store ID documents in the browser. Your browser is connected to many sites and extensions. That increases the attack surface. A dedicated password manager is safer because it isolates the data and encrypts it locally. You keep more control that way.
