# Cake pay / coincards question

I am wondering if services like coincards and cake pay where you are able to get a virtual debit card with crypto, work in the same way as virtual cards from a service such a [privacy.com](http://privacy.com)?

I have noticed a lot of companies will accept virtual cards as payment but have different rules for gift cards and I am not clear what cake pay / coincards would be considered.

For me personally, it would be nice to have a simple way to convert xmr into a more generally accepted form of payment.
