We don’t recommend [ungoogled-chromium](https://discuss.privacyguides.net/t/ungoogled-chromium/15781/) for a few reasons.

1. binaries being compiled by third parties
2. disabling CRLsets which means that a rogue CA could potentially still issue certificates
3. [A review of ungoogled-chromium patches](https://qua3k.github.io/ungoogled/)

As for seperate browsers, there is no reason why you can’t use separate [browser profiles](https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/profile-manager-create-remove-switch-firefox-profiles) no need to install new software.
