# Brave shields update?

Hello

I just noticed that the behavior of shields has changed. It seems that Brave now supports more ways to select elements from the ubo ‘standard’. However I am unable to find any official update statement.

Using my blocklist now blocks the ads in LinkedIn in Brave successfully without the need for thrid party add-ons which is nice.

We all usually just say nothing as we can make these mistakes making a post like months or a year later

That’s what I was thinking. Resurrecting a 2+ year post with a 5+ year old link. I’m confused as anyone.
