I have always been a user of the Brave Onion Search, because it gets way better results then duckduckgo, better design and has it’s own Index.

But today I got blocked several times.
I have never had this issue in all those years.

I am using the latest Tor Browser Version.
Even when restarting Tor Browser completely I again got blocked.
After the 10th circuit refresh it worked finally.

What’s the strategy here?
Any absuer will also just choose another curcuit. There is no captcha. But since years AI is better then actual humans to solve them. So Captchas do the exact oppsite and are useless.

Has anyone else experienced this?

(I reached out to the brave team via Social Media. Would be interesting if they respond)

For the time being, I recommend all hosting providers ignore abuse complaints that indicate “SSH scanning” or “port scanning on 22/TCP” and origina…
