Best way to back up GrapheneOS

In light of Sam Tunick I would like to consider how to wipe a phone and re-install at destination. What are the best ways to do this with GOS since Seedvault is not comprehensive?

I was thinking Seedvault + full copy of internal storage + important app data back up

Doesn’t grapheneOS have a built-in backup functionality?

This seems good to me. You should use the 3-2-1 guidance for storing the backups.

I would ask here

I find seedvault super unreliable and would not trust it to give you access to anything, but there’s not a better option. If you can handle the battery drain, what I came up with was having seedvault do local backups, as well as any other programs that would let me (obtanium, proton authenticator, etc) do local backups, and then use synchthing to copy those + photos and documents folders. Then on a fresh install you copy everything back, restore and reinstall, and configure your applications. It at least ensures nothing important is lost.
