Not necessarily, it’s really country or even city dependent. And just because you’re not poor doesn’t mean you get good internet, and vice versa
Case in point: Australia. Last I checked it’s not poorer than it’s third world neighbours
There’s probably some amount of correlation though yeah
Ping is just how long it takes packets to get there. There’s a lot of reasons you might have a certain speed like you might be downloading some large files or something. It’s not really a reliable consistent measurement I don’t think.
