# Any privacy and security gain from using a VPN with a streamer?

Besides accessing geo-restricted content, is there any advantage in terms of privacy and security to using a VPN with a streamer like an Apple TV? I’m already using the streamer with encrypted DNS. It’s not like I’m doing web browsing, and even if the threat is a state actor, what’s the worst that can happen if they know what I’m watching?
