Any good hosts lists to block evil corporations?

Any good hosts lists to block evil corporations like Meta or Microsoft?

I wanna add them on network level inside my router and machines (double layer)

There are lists for blocking social media and gambling sites.

Facebook would be included in social media blocking lists.

Blocking other evil companies like Microsoft, (not anymore not evil) Google or Amazon would not make any scene. Too much of the Internet runs on their infrastructure.

But you can easily ad “google .com” or “amazon .com” and a view others manually to a list via the GUI when using something like Pi-hole.

Blocking the bad is just half of the battle. The other half is redirecting users to better services, that serve the same use case.

Seems that this is what you are looking for

I would be careful with a broad “company” blocklist at router level. It sounds tidy, but Microsoft/Google/Amazon domains are mixed into login, app updates, CDNs, fonts, maps, push notifications, and work/school sites, so breakage can be confusing for other people in the house.

For a household setup I would start narrower: known tracking/ads lists, plus a separate optional social-media block group that you can turn off quickly. If you really want to block a company, put it in its own list/commented group so you know what caused the breakage later.

Yeah, this can cause headache. But not microsoft domains. I have list (but it seems smaller than @anonymous595 recommended, updated to @anonymous595 version) that blocks microsoft and no issues for years.

But blocking Google can cause issues (youtube, recaptcha etc). Also Amazon block can cause troubles (if it happened to list AWS domains)
