Marking this suggestion as rejected , the lack of E2EE is confirmed here : Hi, yes, currently on iOS only the export to file backup is encrypted by custom password. The iCloud backup is encrypted, but using a constant key. The guidance posted by the developer in that same thread to enable Advanced…

I did consider using this. So maybe if this issue gets sorted in the future then 2fas could get added?

Hello, The update with iCloud synchronization has finally arrived on iOS. Is it end-to-end encrypted in accordance with the requirements of this forum? Thank you to everyone who reported this issue. According to 2FAS’s GitHub, version 5.4 includes E2EE synchronization, but this needs to be verifi…

Yes, it’s time to add 2FAS. I think since this thread is marked as “rejected” Mods just don’t pay attentions to new comments here and they missed this info, so I’ve just created new tool suggestion post, it should be approved soon.

Even with the Auth app, the sync is only available via iCloud. Annoying if you use all kinds of devices. No true cross sync option. Not ideal for me and I suspect many users. That and them not being audited is the only gripe I have. The app is pretty though.

But I am long time happy 2FAS user so I decided to jump in. I saw someone was commenting on the update a while back but then nothing followed. Do…

I’m not a mod or anything myself, but I’ve seen discussions be reopened before when a tool improves. There is a lot of inertia around previous decisions though so I wouldn’t expect it to be added overnight, even if it meets the criteria. Multiple people will need to take a look and confirm that it’s…
